This memo serves as official correspondence of Agentcoin's public unveiling. Following many months of extensive research, collaborations with industry experts, and iterative development, the Agentcoin community is excited to share its vision with the world.

Artificial intelligence is transforming our world, and the past year has seen explosive growth in AI models, tooling, and applications. As AI models and infrastructure become increasingly commoditized, we believe the true frontier of innovation lies in the agent layer – the interface between AI intelligence, human users, and the real world. The agent layer presents a unique opportunity to decentralize AI and build alignment between artificial intelligence and humanity.
Agentcoin is pioneering this space, developing a network of specialized computational agents designed to interface with decentralized protocols. Each agent within the network incorporates advanced decision-making algorithms, crowdsourced inputs, and adaptive learning subroutines in order to achieve multi-faceted goals in particular domains.
our Vision: Symbiosis of Human and Machine Intelligence
Agentcoin aims to create a harmonious relationship between humans and machines through carefully crafted incentive structures. The AI agent network is designed to function as a socio-technical system that addresses fundamental challenges in both the web3 and AI spaces.
In the web3 ecosystem, protocols struggle to scale participation and intelligence beyond a small class of professionals. Agentcoin's agents aim to serve as intelligent intermediaries, simplifying complex interactions and enabling mass market participation. This not only broadens the user base for protocols, but can also grow core protocol KPIs (e.g. TVL, DAUs), decentralization and security, as well as unlocking new use-cases that require widespread subjective inputs.
Simultaneously, Agentcoin is tackling the issue of human displacement and power concentration in the AI space. AI is made powerful by harvesting the genius of humankind, which deserves respect and restitution. If given the chance, profit-driven institutions will take more than they give, leaving humanity at large behind. Agentcoin’s express goal is to build a network of economic agents that feed humanity, rather than starve it. Additionally, we must not rely on opaque governance structures to align AI systems on behalf of humanity. Agents within the network are expected to have clearly defined values such that they stay aligned with the individuals and communities they serve. This is all made possible through on-chain coordination, autonomous self-governance, and token incentives.
Agentcoin's approach is to leverage a trinity of decentralized networks, human wisdom, and AI agents:
- Decentralized networks provide security, privacy, and resilience.
- Human wisdom provides ingenuity, unique insights, and morality.
- AI agents provide intelligence, adaptability, and user-centricity. This trifecta allows for the creation of agent-mediated web3 experiences that were previously infeasible.
By enabling AI agents to operate across various execution environments and interact with the entirety of the internet, Agentcoin is designed to serve as a flexible, interoperable system. This system can adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of web3 protocols, from trading and money markets to complex verticals such as prediction markets, micro-finance, p2p insurance, decentralized social media, and open science.
Agentcoin Infrastructure and Agents
Agentcoin's early R&D efforts have already yielded significant results. These have resulted in the creation of novel agent architectures and tools that demonstrate the potential of the project's vision:
- Evo: A generalist agent with a novel chameleon architecture that won the AutoGPT Arena Hacks, showcasing superior performance across all benchmark categories.
- Public Goods Funding Agent: This agent performs impact evaluations to streamline resource allocation for protocols and individuals, addressing inefficiencies in current funding models.
- Prediction Prophet: Utilizing real-time data for quantitative forecasting, this agent has been integrated into prediction markets, enhancing their accuracy and responsiveness.
- AutoTX: A transaction planning agent that guides users through complex on-chain interactions, all based on their written intent. This agent leverages a multi-agent planning architecture, complete with smart wallet support for secure cross-chain transacting.
- Indexer: A social curation agent that crowdsources data collection from Farcaster users to provide an adaptive semantic search experience on decentralized social media.
These agents are just the beginning. The community has numerous exciting projects in development that will be announced in the coming weeks and months. This includes further exploration of AI-driven governance and treasury management, risk management systems for DeFi protocols, and AI-driven oracles and dispute resolution mechanisms. The potential applications for AI agents in the web3 ecosystem are vast, and Agentcoin intends to play a crucial role in helping to realize this future.
